Tell us a bit about your wedding! What inspired your choices?

I knew I wanted our wedding to be a bright and beautiful day. I chose bright, very colorful florals for the day and loved that decision. The whole day was beautiful. The vibe was bright and elegant. I just wanted to have a fun day to celebrate our love.

What was your favorite part of your wedding day?

This is such a hard question because all of it was truly my favorite. The whole day was absolutely perfect. Spending the day with my closest friends and family getting ready together. Seeing Dylan for the first time on our wedding day. Dancing with both of my parents. But if I had to chose I’d say the best part of it was after the wedding once all the nerves were over and at the reception just getting to hang out with all of our favorite people, enjoy the first moments of being married, dancing and singing. The whole day was perfect.

How did you and your partner meet?

We met through a mutual friend who told me that he knew a guy who would be perfect for me. And he sure is.

Tell us the story of your proposal!

My husband planned some fake family pictures with his dad and step-mom! We ended up getting to the location and it was raining, so we had to improvise some. Dylan and I were taking pictures and I was trying to show him a pose that I wanted to do and he just kept saying no and fidgeting back and fourth because he had the ring out. So he finally got down on one knee and said some of the sweetest things and then asked me to be his wife.

What are the two of you planning on tackling next in life?

We recently bought a house so we’re trying to get the house decorated and I have to say it already feels like home. Next will be hopefully having kids sometime soon.

Do you have any advice for other couples who are planning their own wedding right now?

Don’t stress about all of wedding planning. Enjoy wedding planning. Enjoy this time with each other. It’s such a big deal and let it reflect your love for each other. Make decisions together and trust those decisions. The day will turn out perfectly. Just enjoy it.

What has been your favorite part about working with The Silo?

They were amazing from start to finish! I didn’t have a single concern on my wedding day.
